I've always thought that social studies was the same as History, but it also asks me how many years of History I've taken. I plan on taking two years of History (I'm a Sophomore) and I don't know what they mean. The college I want to go to (UNC at Chapel Hill) doesn't require history, but they require three years of social studies. Would my two years in History (World History and US History) count as social studies? Are Social Studies and History both the same? Q. The change is in reality caused by the gradual social changes that take place. Like pressure building in a balloon. The trigger event bursts the balloon. But it is really the pressure that causes the explosive change. There is a named Social Psych term. But am having trouble locating it. Thanks.
